Odour-Fighting Carbon Filters

What is Carbon?

Carbon, or Activated Carbon is an element added to the outflow end of your filter.  It's black and covers the entire back side of the filter media.  It's made mostly from carbonized cocoanut husks.

Why should I use filters with added Carbon ?

Do you have pets?  Do you cook with potent-smelling herbs and spices?  Do you or anyone in your household smoke?  Pleated filters with added carbon are an effective solution for eliminating irritating odours from all these sources and more.  The porous carbon material absorbs odourous particles and leaves you with cleaner-smelling air.
